Colors with color tube
The LED neon we use in our signs is made of two key components: an LED strip and a flexible silicone tube. The strip produces the light, while the silicone tube serves two important purposes — it protects the LEDs from damage and diffuses the light, creating a smooth, continuous glow. Our LED neon sign can be made using two types of flexible tubing: white or colored. Each option offers a different visual effect depending on your needs.
LED neon sign with colored tubes. In this version, the color of the silicone tube matches the light emitted by the LED strip. This means your sign looks vibrant not only when it’s turned on, but also when it’s off. This option works especially well for multi-color designs where each element needs to stay visually distinct at all times. If you want your sign to maintain its color accents even when powered off, this is the right choice.

Colors with white tube
LED neon sign with white tubes. In this version, all silicone tubes are white, regardless of the LED color inside. Why does this matter? Pigments used in colored silicone can be less resistant to UV exposure, meaning they may fade over time when used outdoors. This doesn’t affect the light when the sign is on — but it may slightly change how the sign looks when turned off.White silicone tubes don’t have this issue because they contain no color pigments. As a result, your sign keeps a clean and consistent appearance over time. When powered on, it still displays bright colors, but when turned off, it remains white. If long-term appearance and durability are important to you, this option is a great choice.
